Why donate?

Donating towards the funding of Get Hot! means supporting a celebration of the life and music of a wonderful (and wonderfully under-appreciated) exponent of the jazz, blues and popular dance music that still forms the basis of contemporary musical culture. This is your opportunity to be in at the birth of the next great song-and-dance musical.

What will I make happen?

A short-run, small-cast production of the show, featuring the company of actors, dancers, choreographers and directors involved in the earlier Get Hot! workshop (see above)

Just to be absolutely clear.  These are donations, not investments, and no financial return is to be expected from them. However, should the production result in the show being picked up for further development by a Producer or Producers, there may well be an opportunity to become an ‘Angel’. In theatrical parlance, an Angel is someone who invests in a theatrical production, with the aim of securing a return on that investment.
